Response to Ali West talk from Jun 2019
If I'm being vulnerable and indulgent today, here, at my stone, my hands are rough and torn, my back is bowed and sore, my pace is slow, the chisel is marked and worn. I know each blow lends only some small inexpert shape. But, it's still a testament of my love and gratitude.
